« Very nice well appointed home. We came in for a nearby family wedding and it was a great place to stay. Try to arrive during the day though as it is a little hard to find at night. But well worth opening and closing a gate or two. Fantastic view. Great space. »

« The property is a beautiful farmhouse. The owner has done a great job on giving it creature comforts. Property is very private with a cute stream and hiking trail on the property. We knew that the owner wanted to meet at us at check in, however we are very used to and love contactless check-ins, we did find that less than ideal to coordinate and meet a stranger after 10 hours of driving. We will probably stray away from that requirement in the future. »

« The property was amazing in a wonderful neighborhood. The building has an amazing history, the smokehouse history was fun to learn about, and the town had an event called "first Friday" where local bands and vendors showcased on Friday night, and our host was always attentive to our needs, available, and pleasant. « We had such a great time at this beautiful farmhouse! Everything we needed was there, and the house is lovely. My girls enjoyed playing games, billiards, swinging on the rope swing, taking walks and seeing the creek, and the grown ups enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing. The house has everything you need for a relaxing get away. The hostess was gracious and communicative. The house was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We love the property and hope to return! »

« We rented this house for a hiking vacation. It was a beautiful house just minutes from Old Rag and other hiking trails in the Shenandoahs. The National Park entrance was about a 20 minute drive. Nice deck overlooking farmlands and hills. Well appointed rooms, well-equipped kitchen. The host was really nice and helpful. Hope to be back there soon. »

« We've been staying at WMF for years, and it always blows us away how pristine, comfortable and peaceful it is. A close second is how well appointed it is, so many things are provided (from a top brand of charcoal for the grills to every kitchen gadget imaginable to robes for the sauna), you really only need to show up with the clothes on your back. The owner, Eric, is responsive and friendly, and the caretakers are equally so. The whole experience is truly a gift! »

« We stayed here when in Warrenton to care for a loved one. It was the perfect location between the hospital and town in a lovely quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Chase was wonderful to work with and Mike (the owner) was very welcoming. Not only were we given bread, eggs, sausage at the beginning of our stay, we found some beautiful daffodils on our doorstep during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you! »
