"This place was great for my family of five - kids 8, 12, 18. Lots of options to keep everyone busy! The arcade was fun and pools were nice! 1878 was a FANTASTIC! Very good food and drinks and we had a party of 9 including 4 kids and it was very enjoyable. The lookout for lunch was also very good and accommodating. During the evening after 10 at the lookout has live music or karaoke on the weekend and it was a great time - very attentive bartenders. I would absolutely recommend a wedding here it was beautiful by the lake for the weddings!"

Wildwood Lodge

"After a good stay over the last weekend we returned for another stay for a family event and were on the first floor. Our room along with family members room was overcome with the smell of mold and old cigarettes. My guess is these rooms may have been smoking rooms from the previous hotel owner. This wasn’t the case the week before when we were on the second floor."

"We've been to the Lodge a couple times, this time cut short by extreme severe weather. The staff did as good as they could to field questions, clean the grounds, and take care of the guests. About as good as one can expect in the situation and refunded us for the remainder of our stay without hesitation (storm took out 100s of power lines). But on to the things they can control: The food at Crafted was excellent both times. Pool area is great and does not feel like southern WI. The hotel is a little older but part of charm. They have renovated pretty well and the rooms are nice. We'll likely be back. I hope"

"The shower pressure in our room could carve the Grand Canyon and I was all for it. I love a good shower and the beds were comfy. Great night's sleep and watched Sputh Park in the morning. Guy at the front desk when I checked in was awesome. Talked a lot about Australia and California. Very pleasant gentlemen indeed, but forgot to catch his name. Right near the gas station and I-90."
