She was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Even though just set off the road, the hotel was so peaceful and tranquil and, whilst modern it had a wonderful charm. We would definitely stay again and wholeheartedly recommend it."

"Perfectly situated inside the wall, very near Porto Elisa. I was in Lucca for a month and was taking Italian at LIS. It was a 5 minute walk to school. Only a block or so from the wall, which is beautiful. Paola and Vicnicio have created an amazing space with everything you might need. Paola responds immediately if you have a question and makes you feel as if it is your home. There is AC in the main bedroom (I was there for the entire August heatwave) but she will teach you how to keep the apt cool. Super close to the Conad for groceries, and it’s easy peasy to get to the train station. Filled with light and a VERY happy home."

A lovely and quirky hotel in an excellent location, just a few hundred yards/metres and you are through the city walls. City and the Mura di Lucca are spectacular! "I have recently returned to the UK after staying in this amazing apartment while visiting Lucca. The apartment was exceptionally clean, had all the necessary kitchen equipment, including a dishwasher, and a much appreciated washing machine which came in very handy for a lengthy stay! The bed in the main room was super comfy with additional bedding and towels supplied when staying for a longer period. Yes, the apartment is on the top floor of a building with no lift, but it is worth the climb! The apartment is an a great location. Only a few minutes walk into the centre of Lucca with plenty of restaurants and shops literally on your doorstep. It is a quiet area and perfectly safe for a female to walk around at night. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit the fabulous city of Lucca. Communication with the hosts was exceptional, who also supplied lots of information about the apartment and Lucca in general. Thanks again for an amazing stay and I hope to go back next year!"
