"Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again. We arrived early. The woman at the reception desk was neither friendly nor accommodating. She could not help us with directions to stroll around while we waited for our room, nor did she note that there was water/coffee and a lovely outdoor sitting area on the 5th floor where we could have waited. The room itself was clean. Note, there is a glass door/window between the sleeping area and bathroom. Not sure why anyone wants this and it took us a long time to figure out how to make the window opaque for privacy. The area rug does not stay in place and we continually tripped over the edges. If they insist on having one in rooms it should be tacked down. Breakfast was fine. Everything we ate was good however the variety is very limited and the staff are not on top of cleaning up once guests leave the area. If you are looking for a stay in/near old Jaffa, this location is perfect. Its under a 5 minute walk to the flea market and clock tower area and a very nice walk if you prefer to walk up the beach into Tel Aviv proper. The light rail stops right outside the property so transport is easy. Note it is also down the block from the soccer stadium. Game nights could be hectic, crowded and noisy. Notwithstanding anything written above, I want to reiterate that our stay was pleasant and should the need arise we would stay here again."
