« This home is listed as a beach cottage. However, it presents itself more like a small home. Since I was on a solo beach break, I only needed room for myself. Being a taller guy, a king size bed would have been nice, but that was offset by the awesome beach sounds and view. You simply cannot get any closer to the sand than this place. It's also only a short 3 miles south of the bridge coming onto the island. I will definitely keep this place on my list for repeats. :) »

« Relaxing! Everything as described in the advertisement. We enjoyed walking to Swansboro and the short drive to the beach was easy. The weather didn’t fully cooperate but we still enjoyed. »

« The house was splendid for our family. We had five adults, a 12 year old, and a 7 year old. We had plenty of room, the mutual space was great. Two full bathrooms, nice kitchen, comfy living room. I would have liked more towels, toilet paper, etc. We only got one towel per person, and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. For a 5 day stay it would have been helpful to have more. Lovely area, close walk to the beach access. Had an issue with our sink not draining, the property manager was on top...

« Really enjoyed our stay. Hubby and I stayed 5 days with our two little dogs. Everyone enjoyed the Cozy Cottage. It was clean, tastefully decorated, well stocked and the host was very accommodating. We’ll miss our stay, and can’t wait to return someday. Also, the little black kitty became our friend! Excellent place! »

« If you are out to enjoy a good neighborhood and outdoor activities,- it is a perfect spot to be! House interior and study of supplies were very lovely. Unfortunately, we vacationed at the property at the hurricane time and mostly stayed inside. Strong smell of the mold was unevitable. »

« I enjoyed my stay at this darling beach home. It’s so quaint and has every you need. Decor was done so nicely! Beach supplies available and fire pit in the yard looked great but rainy days made it difficult for me to use. Walk to beach in less than 5 min. Great area to bike and take long walks. I would love to return!! »

« Perfect location, can’t get any closer to the beach. Nice and quiet. House was very clean and up to date. Was exactly as pictured in the listing. Only incredibly minor complaint was that the smoke alarm is super sensitive and went off every time we used the oven. Better to work than not at all though! Definitely will be coming back. »
