This charming island home with six bedrooms, and four baths features beautiful lagoon views just steps away from the renowned Links golf course at Wild Dunes! The home opens to a spacious living area for all the family to gather, with a sunroom on the back to sip your morning coffee. Off the sunroom and living room is a large open deck overlooking the lagoon and the end of the Links driving range. This home is tucked away in the private gated community of Ocean Point located within Wild Dunes. The Ocean Point Community includes access to a community pool located just a couple blocks up the road. Just steps away (approximately 150yds) from the beach access this home is positioned on the Northeastern tip of Isle Palms, which has very limited access. This makes plenty of room for you and the family to sprawl out and enjoy the serenity of the Atlantic Ocean! If you are looking for a nice peaceful family getaway, or a golfers paradise, look no further. This home has been completely refurnished throughout. The large open floor plan leaves plenty of room for the family to spread out, and seating for 8 at the dining room table. Owner has also provided a stand alone High Capacity Icemaker down in the garage, as well as an additional 2nd full size fridge. Along with a new beverage fridge in utility room, and new beer chiller next to the kitchen. The 2 upstairs king bedrooms open onto another large deck with gorgeous lagoon views. Access to the 2 twin bedroom is through the King bedroom on the right when walking upstairs. \*The home is setup with Smart TV's in the living room, and every bedroom in the house.. With an Xfinity app (instead of cable box) on all of them to provide standard cable which included multiple sports channels. Apps are also available on all tvs to sign into your own personal streaming accounts to access more content. \* Community pool currently open year round, and open at 10am. Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent. WIFI and linens included. Fireplace not for guest use. No smoking on premise. Several things could use updating. The gas grill is very dirty and extremely rusty. We were unable to use it. Several of the mattresses are very worn out. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked with dishes but does net even have salt and pepper. The dishwasher racks fall out when pulled out to load. Since I’ve stayed in quite a few houses on VRBO and AirB&B this is the 1st one that didn’t over impress me with how well stocked it was. Also we could t figure out how to get an Uber past the gate so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage to catch our airport ride. It would have been great if that info was provided in the welcome packet. Also they need to get door locks with e codes so you don’t have to drop off your keys on your way to the airport. I brought a few kitchen tools from home expecting the kitchen to be bear bones but was surprised to find everything I needed to cook for my family. The home was clean and organized. The one thing I would suggest is pressure washing the outside of home. The stairs leading up to entry were green with mold or something. Awesome- check in and out was very convenient. Great location for the older guys considering the 1st tee was only 50 yds away. You can hear the ocean from the bedrooms that face the lagoon which was amazing. And there is a sweet sunroom off the kitchen. I would recommend Island Realty provide a few more amenities for guests to really improve the experience: namely trash bin liners and laundry and dishwasher soap. I don't typically pack these items and it was a bummer to have to purchase them. The home is stripped between visits so where you might expect condiments like salt and pepper or olive oil or pam or other non-perishables from other guests, there is nothing like that so pack and plan accordingly--I am hoping that items that are left find good homes otherwise, it's pretty wasteful. Also, no hair dryers in bathrooms as I recall like we've found in other properties, so again, put that on your list. The clean up requirements were standard, nothing exceptional and nothing we'd not had to do at any another vrbo rental--chores were easy to do and we were happy to help. Again, the home is gorgeous, nicely appointed, clean and well-maintained. Walking to beach was easy. Checking in and out was also simple and straightforward. Would highly recommend. ##### Kim M. The house had plenty of room for our family of 10\. The one bedroom has to be accessed through another bedroom and bathroom which could be a little awkward but we just put the teens in those rooms so it worked just fine.
