This fantastic 3 bedroom/2 bath home is one of the premier rentals on Folly Beach. The owners have spared no expense from beautiful landscaping to high-end appliances and an incredible outdoor entertainment space, complete with your own private pool and hot tub! It is a short walk to both the beach and the downtown area of Folly Beach. Drive a short 20 minutes to all the excitement of downtown Charleston. This gorgeous home will be a vacation destination for your family for years to come. The open floorplan features an abundance of natural light. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with custom cabinets and high-end appliances. Breakfast bar along with dining room table provide ample seating for the entire family. The spacious wrap around couch is perfect for relaxing and watching the large flat-screen TV with family and friends. Primary bedroom includes a king bed, TV, private porch access, and an ensuite with walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms share a full bath in the hall and have 1 queen and 1 full bed each. All bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary style with ultra comfortable bedding. High-end, freshly laundered linens and towels are provided for the maximum occupancy of the home. Take a dip in the brand new private pool and hot tub (Pool Heat will only heat the water to approximately 20 degrees above the air temperature- see below). Challenge your friends at a game of ping pong, darts, or one of the yard games provided in the massive under building area. Rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day of fun on the beach. There's plenty of parking space for cars, boats, and golf carts. The large screened-in porch has multiple seating options and is perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Beach access is about a 9 minute walk, or a very short drive or bike ride. Absolutely NO house parties, youth groups, fraternities, sororities, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. allowed in the home. Property is in a residential neighborhood with a 24/7 noise ordinance enforced. Go into the Folly Beach downtown area, just 0.5 miles away, to wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Stroll down the Folly Beach Pier on Center Street, or find the local and tourist favorite Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy Instagram shots! Just a short, 20-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Here you will experience world-class dining, swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more. Parking for up to 4 vehicles is free in the garage and double driveway area. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am. Sunset Point has all modern amenities to make your vacation one of comfort and ease. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, Roku TV, keyless entry, contactless check-in, central heat and A/C, washer/dryer, gas grill, outdoor shower, pool, hot tub, and high-end appliances. Pet friendly with paid fee of $125 + tax per pet. Maximum 2 dogs allowed with a 35lb. weight limit. No pool use after sunset. Home is non-smoking, no exceptions. Games under the house are a great feature, however- be aware that you wont be able to enjoy them after dusk. The concrete echoes and the neighbors will complain of the "noise ordinance". We statyed for 2 weeks and brought our dog and college daughter. It is a short walk to the beach and in to town for dining. If you have dogs, there is no full fence so just a watch out. Only opporutnity is that the beds are extremely soft. Was not abel to control the airconditioning and it was a bit cold at night. Overall we loved the location, the decor and the entire visit. ##### Kelly S. The house is a couple of rows back but provides more privacy and is very quiet, while still easily accessible to the beach. The microwave was not working so we called the management company, and they replaced it within an hour. ##### Ann O. Lots of room, very clean and comfortable. It was located a few streets back from the beach but, we rented a golf cart to get ourselves and all of our beach stuff to and fro. Beaches were more crowded than I am used to but never had a huge wait at restaurants. All in all, we had a great time! ##### Haize L. The home felt safe in a residential neighborhood. Very close to nearby restaurants and only a few blocks from the beach. It’s a quick 5 min drive to a local grocery store and about 20 minutes to nearby Charleston. The backyard and lower level is great for kids to play and explore. I really liked the feel of Folly Beach. It is not overly commercialized/touristy. It feels like a local surf town. The people are so nice and welcoming. The house really had everything we needed. We did have to buy our own laundry soap and dishwashing detergent. We also had to buy extra paper towels and toilet paper for our week-long stay. My husband and I do prefer firm mattresses and the mattress in the Primary bedroom was very soft. Just something to note if that is a concern for you. We had a couple of things that were damaged on accident during our stay (we have 4 kids). We wanted to be upfront about everything as we try our best to take care of our VRBOs. The property manager was communicative and friendly. She did not seem to think it would be a problem (a closet door that fell off the track, a torn screen, etc.) Animals are also allowed to stay at the property. We did find a could of stray pet hairs during our stay but the house did feel clean when we arrived and that is just the nature of hosting pets. It did not bother us. Overall, we were so happy with this vacation and thankful this home fit us so well. ##### Lindsay G. Séjour de 7 nuits en mai 2023 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Voyageur vérifié 10 mai 2023 Points forts : Propreté #### Beautiful house and yard in good location Very pleasant stay in this gorgeous very clean house on a quiet street with lots of shade, about four blocks to the beach. (There’s a lovely path short cut.) The porches are large and well furnished. 5the beds were comfortable. The only quibbles: the main Tv was difficult to use. The one in the master was fine. The master bath needs more towel racks or hooks. There was only one dishcloth provided in the kitchen. A big deal: this is a dog friendly house and from the photos, I thought the back yard was fenced. It is not fully fenced.
