This is a beautiful gem. Spacious, clean, very quiet. Check in was quick and easy. Very well equipped kitchen. The hosts provided a lovely selection of basics upon our arrival. We absolutely loved it!!! Would definitely stay again!

Lovely cottage

Lovely Loch Ness Cottage

Lovely cottage just next to Loch Ness, surrounded by woodland and with a partial view of the Loch too. Parking was easy right outside and the accommodation was spacious with a comfy sofa! Kitchen was well-equipped and the shower was spacious too. The whole place was really clean and Tom was very welcoming when we arrived. The only downside was the midges who congregated outside the front door but that's to be expected given the location!

Beautiful secluded little lodge very close to Loch Ness. Inside the lodge was very clean, tastefully decorated and had all the mod cons needed for a lovely stay.

Beautiful surroundings but we felt that on reflection the property was in need of some TLC - washing machine out if order, no hot water to kitchen or bathroom sinks. Possibly not worth the overnight rate.

Skøn cottage

Fantastisk dejlig hytte med meget god komfort og meget venlige og hjælpsomme værter. Man kan gå direkte til hytten fra the Great Glen Way, men det er ikke afmærket på ruten. Ulempen ved hyttens placering, som iøvrigt er smuk, er at vejen til indkøb kræver bil da hovedvejen er farlig at færdes ved gående.

Fantastic Family and Dog+ Gem on Loch Ness!

Location is amazingly beautiful. Great for hiking and kids looking for Nessie. The hosts were extremely warm in welcoming us and friendly. My kids were very disappointed we only stayed one night. We will extend our trip to at least a couple of days next time. Also, good restaurants located about 3.5 miles away. The location is otherwise secluded, so bring in any foods needed.

What an amazing experience! The cabin was clean, well furnished, and the hosts couldn't not be more lovely. So welcoming and accommodating. If you have the chance to stay here- do!

Nice lodge with partial view of Loch Ness

Fantastic lodge on the edge of Loch Ness. Partial view of the loch. Lovely and quiet with helpful owners - unfortunately there were roadworks right outside the lodge on our last night meaning a lengthy detour which it would have been helpful to be warned about. Overall I would recommend this as a base for exploring Loch Ness.

A Gem

Wish we had scheduled more time here. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Note that this is a self catering establishment. You can stop at the shops in the area for provisions or eat at one of many local restaurants. Great location to station ones self and travel in day trips in the area.

So far we have stayed in 5 different “hotels” or flats as a family and this one was everyone’s favorite! Owner Lyn was so helpful at check in and the place was so clean and cute. The bedding was luxurious and the beds and pillows were comfortable! We enjoyed all the surrounding amenities which the owners clearly laid out in a welcome book. Another very nice touch was that there was a “treat bowl” full of goodies for the kids and coffee, tea and milk for the parents in the morning. It was a very relaxing stay. One note, you must have a car if staying here as it is outside of town.

The owners of these cottages are fantastic. They were kind, welcoming, and understanding. Some unfortunate rental car circumstances led us to be later than the check in time - I called the rental property to explain. They were fantastic! Helped us out over and above. It may seem a little out of Inverness, but it is a simple commute and worth it! Don’t miss out.

disappointing

dirty shower, dirty pans, not enough towels, washing machine non-functional, not even plumbed in. if you have 6 people staying cosy, but only sets of 6 things in the kitchen, which makes things interesting when cooking. A clock in the main part of the home would be helpful.

Modern, clean & cosy

The Cabin was tucked away right beside Loch Ness. The accommodation made really good use of a small space - comfortably sleeping 5 of us, with one on the sofa. The interior was all very modern, with modern essentials - hot shower, wifi, TV, cooking facilities. The cabin was spotless - very well cleaned. Finally, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely use again if in the area.
