We chose Salamina because of it’s beach atmosphere and close proximity to Athens.There are so many quaint little shops on the island and wonderful things to do. "There was nothing to dislike. The apartment was clean & the kitchen well stocked . It was nicely furnished & we really enjoyed the old pieces of furniture. The owner was very friendly & helpful. He also met us at the ferry & lead us to the apartment which we probably never would have found on our own. We were greeted each morning with freshly baked buns which was a real treat!"
