![New Zelands most active cone volcano and one of the few active marine volcano that you can tour! A once in a lifetime experience but a tip for those who get sea sick, take something before the boat trip out there! The boat slowed down about half way out and it got a buy rocky but we got to see many dolphins so it was very cool! « I really enjoyed the night I spent here; I definitely would stay again! The place was clean and cozy with the most amazing views. Michelle (the host) was kind and responsive. It's also a short drive to Waihi Beach for food and fun activities.Just 2 things to keep in mind (not a critique!): (1) the driveway is gravel and steep but easy to navigate and (2) the kitchenette is small so check specific amenities ahead of time. »
