« Our stay was amazing , the location was ideal and the surroundings are scenic , the condition of cabin was ideal , lovely and clean on arrival , only suggestion would be a path to the fire pit area, may have just been heavy rainfall before arrival but the ground was very marshy and kept getting foot stuck in Ground due to this , overall great place and very friendly hosts and very accommodating, great place highly recommend »

« The host could not have been more helpful nor welcoming while the house was extremely well-equipped and thoughtfully appointed in a peaceful, rural location which provided a wonderful retreat. Within walking distance were two beautiful beaches and the equally welcoming Kilchoman distillery ( a stunning 3 mile hike to this from the house).We would happily revisit if possible. »

L’appartement situé au premier étage et fait partie d’un ensemble de maisons et a 30minutes d’Oban loin du tumulte de la ville (ni trop près ni trop loin). « We had a great relaxing time staying a this Port Charlotte holiday rental. We were comfortable and it was nice to spread out in the multiple bedrooms and living areas. We took the opportunity to visit the town for meals and even a little live traditional music, and enjoyed waking the path along the coastline, complete with multiple rainbows and Highland Coos! »

« Le lieu est très cocooning, le chalet agréable donne sur une très belle vue. Les accessoires de cuisine nécessiteraient un suivi. Quid de cet appareil avec compteur branché dans la cuisine dont nous n’avons pas obtenu la fonction auprès du propriétaire. Une caméra sur la terrasse.... Le point le plus gênant est l’enclavement du lieu qui nécessite de faire déjà 30’ de voiture sur une très belle mais très petite route avant de rejoindre un grand axe. »

« If you are looking for a slower paced experience, this is a lovely place to stay. The neighbors are friendly, and the tavern at the end of the road had wonderful food and good service. The village was peaceful and charming. It was easy to get to almost anywhere in Scotland with 3-5 hour drives. The road in to the village is quaint and you need to take your time getting in. Can’t wait to come back. »

« Cabin very nice and well located near the Loch awe. The jacuzzi and the access to the Loch are magical. You could see the ducks walk along the terrace at night ! Just a little bit noisy because you are in a sort of camping but it worth it. »

Rooms are tiny a bit but we are in an old castle, it is to be expected. Shower and bathroom renovated. All good condition. An amazing view, an exclusing unique stay and great opportunity for a nice walk in the gardens around this beautiful castle. »
