Small with not many people. If you want peace and quiet and lots of activities to do this is the place for you. The lake is beautiful and private. Food was ok. Nothing special. One day our servers in the dining room were not on the ball. Service was just not there. My wife wanted a spa and phoned and left a message but no return call. Another couple told us there spa was cancelled the day of after they had booked it ahead on line. The need to work on that for sure if they are advertising a spa. Cabins are well appointed and tidy. We stayed in the Stillwater cabin. Our ā€œcabinā€ was not a separate building but was half of a duplex and the lack of air conditioning made it almost unbearable in the hot humid weather we experienced. The site itself did not accommodate anyone with mobility issues, e.g. the ā€œwalking trailsā€ were unmaintained and dangerously unsafe to hike, and access to the unheated pool was via stairs which led to a grassy slope. We found that the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were very comfortable though we knew it would be a bit rustic. We had food delivered and only ordered basic stuff, but it was pretty good (I highly recommend the bread pudding!). The winter scenery at the resort and the hiking trails was outstanding.
