There is a solid sliding door between the bedroom and the living room area. (wood door) The entrance to Ilikai Marina Condo is on Hobron Lane just past the Red Lobster restaurant. From Ala Moana Blvd you would turn toward the ocean on Hobron Lane. The entrance is under the bridge between the Modern Honolulu Hotel and Ilikai Marina Condos. and located at 1765 Ala Moana Blvd. Honolulu (Right side of street). Parking(level 4/5 closest to condo) available at $23/- per night. This unit has been updated and it's in a great location for walking anywhere in Waikiki, Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island Lagoon, Ala Moana Shopping Center. It is also located on The Bus lines. There is a laundry room in the building located on the 8th floor for guests just around the elevators. . Restaurants in the ground level of the Ilikai Marina include Chart House, Harbor Pub (great pizza and open for breakfast) and Red Lobster.. There is also the Cinnamon’s Restaurant at the Ilikai Hotel popular among locals and visitors alike. The Ilikai Hotel is next to the Modern Honolulu hotel which you can walk on the overpass from Ilikai Marina. There is ABC Store, Coffee Bean and McDonalds around the corner of Hobron Lane and Ala Moana Blvd. There are also a few car rental companies within a couple of minutes away. Had everything you need for your stay (kitchen items, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, cooler). Host was amazing at communication! The only downside was that the photos were a little deceiving. There have been several updates to the condo, however it could use new paint (the bedroom, bathroom, vanity had peeling paint which was unexpected and dirty looking). Not related to the room, but the harbor is not as pristine as the photos, it is full of garbage which was surprising after looking at the pictures on the listing. ##### Dale R. It has a lovely view for watching the sunset over the ocean and the Ilikai Marina. The kitchen in the condo was clean and neat. The carpeting was thick and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Hopefully you won't need to use the hide-a-bed. Jack has provided a number of amenities for families with young children -- car seat, playpen. Jack's instructions for getting to the condo were very clear and helpful. Staying at Jack's condo was a great experience! ##### Roberta P. They had beach chairs and coolers etc for us to take to the beach. It was a very comfortable, beautiful stay I would recommend. The chart house and the harbor bar shared the same building so that was also convenient. ##### erik B. Clean, Quite for the most part when there wasn't any construction. I'm sure its not like that all of the time. location was perfect, close to everything, within walking distance to beach, stores & nightlife. The condo was equipped with everything you could need. Even though we didn't need kids things it was available. car seat, pack & play and boogie boards. ##### Diana C. Excellent location, 10 minute walk to the beach, awesome shopping, and delicious restaurants! ABC Store located right across the street for all your necessities, snacks, drinks, and grab n go meals. The condo had enough of everything for our family of 4, bedding, towels, beach towels. Owner included laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, etc. These things are not commonly stocked for a whole week stay for a family of 4\. The kitchen had all the appliances, dishes and utensils you would need. There were boogie boards, a sand chair, umbrellas, beach mat, cooler, ice packs, and so much more! The sofa bed was not very comfortable. But with a little ingenuity, we put the couch pillows under the thin mattress to give it more padding and comfort, it ended up being just fine. The owner had timely responses to our inquires. Good communication. Very comfortable condo. Within 15 min walk to downtown Waikīkī and only 10 min to Ala Moana Shopping center. Excellent view of the Marina. Had a few beautiful rainbow. Even appreciated the pretty/non white sheets and non white towels. We've stayed here before at the Ilikai Marina and these are really nice condos. You can't go wrong with the location at all. And, the descriptions are spot on. Great views! Great value! 5 stars! Hubby and I loved this condo unit. Jack's communication was excellent! He provided a lot of info, recommendations, etc. The queen bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. The WiFi worked fine too. The kitchen was nicely equipped for our week long stay. The unit was very clean. The views from the lanai were marvelous (marina, lagoon, sunsets, etc.). The unit is on the north side of the building, so we found it to be surprising quiet for being right at the marina and above two restaurants. We went to the Harbor Pub and Charthouse restaurants (located below the condos in the same building) multiple times. Both restaurants have a great vibe and delicious food/drinks. Waikiki beach/shops are walking distance away, and lots of things to see. We watched the Friday night lagoon fireworks from the Harbor Pub. Parking was 33 a day, with in/out privileges, which was very convenient. We highly recommend Jack's condo unit. ##### Denise & Gil R. Fireworks on Friday evening too. Everything you need is there. New carpeting on the floors. A bit of noise on the streets after 10 pm, but not annoying. We’d definitely stay again. ##### Pete W.
