"Great hotel and in a fantastic location, value for money however a bit lacking and the rooms were very small. Amenities need some improving with our shower head leaking and not a lot of pressure, room ageing. Breakfast beware - the charge is astronomical and after being told our breakfast was included we were sent a bill - hotel to their credit did reverse the charges."

"The room cleaning service was excellent. The cleaning staff was very polite, patient, and attentive. The driver was also very friendly and easy to talk to, and he gave us some practical and helpful advice. The bed was very large and comfortable, and there was a wide selection of TV channels for guests to choose from. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay."

"During our three-week trip to Hong Kong, we stayed at The Arca in three different rooms. Overall, we had a very good experience. The rooms are very spacious by Hong Kong standards, and the bathrooms are also unusually large. Of the rooms we stayed in, I liked the high-floor sea-view room the most — the view made the stay feel especially relaxing. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and whenever an issue came up, they were eager to resolve it quickly. The main drawback for a longer stay is the lack of a communal or self-service laundry room. There is also no convenient self-service laundry nearby. Because the weather was very hot during our stay, we needed to wash clothes frequently, and we found it quite inconvenient to take our laundry all the way to Aberdeen. The hotel does provide free laundry service once a week for monthly stays, but our three-week stay did not qualify. The hotel’s regular laundry service is also quite expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the spacious rooms, large bathrooms, sea view and helpful staff. For shorter stays, I would happily recommend the hotel. For longer stays, I do wish they had a guest laundry facility."
