PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in. We require Vacation Rental Accidental Damage Insurance for your reservation. This costs an additional $55\. If you want to satisfy our Accidental Damage Insurance requirement another way, you can reach out to us and opt in for a refundable security deposit of $3,000. Life guards will be on duty daily beginning Saturday June 17 through Monday September 6 from 10am to 6pm. Shuttle Bus will run daily except Tuesdays July 2 thru Sunday August 15 and Sept 4 & 5 from 11am to 5pm. Membership card required for access to private beach - No Exceptions. Pool opens June 17th 2023 The use of the public beach does not require a membership card. Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied. If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property. If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out. Holiday Booking Policy CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) \*\*No Check-Ins/Outs December 24th, 25th NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29\. Kitchen lacks basic things like a tea kettle, wooden spoons or a can opener, pots and pans are in poor condition, oven emitted a toxic chemical smell whenever turned on. Rental agency did not clear deck or stairs from old snow and ice, making the deck unusable and the stairs a slippery hazard. The heater in the bathroom was broken and the smoke detector needed new batteries upon our arrival. Management agency didn't seem to care about the feedback. ##### Gisele F. Family of 4 + grandpa and we all had plenty of room. We went to teach our kids how to ski and take a nice long relaxing weekend. This cabin was perfect for that. Do be aware of the bear fence and it's a little icy in the winter, other than that, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of meals were cooked. ##### Peter M. All I wanted was a getaway in the winter so my 4 year old could enjoy his 1st time in the snow. He loved the place and so did we. The place can accommodate easily up to 7 even though it was just 3 of us. We had everything we needed to just enjoy a quiet weekend away and a nice drive going into town for coffee, restaurants and stores. Place is tidy and privately facing the woods from the living room. Bring your own logs if you want to use the fireplace which is worth it. The cabin had so much snow on the patio we were able to make snowmen. Overall great stay :) ##### Sarah D. It is warm and cosy in the evening, bright and light in the daytime with lots of big windows. Great location, very quiet. Our only criticism is the circular staircase in the livingroom which has very sharp unprotected edges, as I found out when I hit my head against it by mistake - very bad cut on the top of my head.
