The woodsy setting and spectacular sandy beachfront would be hard to equal. The 54 steps down to the beach were well maintained and manageable for all the members of our group, young and old. The house is located halfway between Holland and Saugatuck, an easy drive to restaurants, shopping, etc. We would gladly stay there again (but bottled water is recommended for drinking). ##### Diane L. Beautiful home that sits right on Lake Michigan. We brought 3 little kids and the creek that runs along the beach into the lake was like having a personal kiddie pool. We spent every day out on the beach- the flies were terrible the last day, but otherwise perfect beach days followed by relaxing evenings on the lower deck and in the great room of the house. Seriously recommend for a family vacation with little kids! Also enjoyed the paved driveway for toddler biking, the basketball hoop for little kids and the wrap around porch. We mostly relaxed around the house and on the beach with easy up the stairs access if we needed to run back to grab anything. The deck was huge and shaded with beautiful trees surrounding it. Great location on the Lake with private beach access, able to watch the sunset from the lower deck & enjoy relaxing breakfasts or lunches on the main deck. The main deck has recently been replaced but there is minimal lighting making the stylistic levels a fall hazard. The WiFi is spotty at best.
