"It was great! I was worried with the mixed reviews on Google but when we got there it was clean! The elevator I chose to avoid due personal fear but my partner said it was probably for the best! The room was spacious for a motel! I travel a lot so it was nice to have the extra leg room. Another thing I can add is we didn't experience the mold smell others had reported. I loved the fact we were next to a Kroger and across from the beach. Breakfast was busy this morning but it was hot! The bed was super comfortable! When we come back to Galveston we plan to stay here again!"

"For the price, I was expecting much more. The room and bathroom were very small. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable though. Even though it says the rooms are soundproof, you can still easily hear people outside the door. The Resort is beautiful to hold events like weddings, bridal shower, etc. But to stay there for any other reason; I personally don’t feel it’s worth the high price they are charging. We paid $600 for one night in their basic room. Valet is $40 The pool area was small and packed with so many people. I think they had a section of the pool closed off when we visited. Overall, it was very underwhelming. "

"First I asked to get my room clean and left at 9:00am to have breakfast with my two grandchildren the housekeeper was two rooms before ours , we came back at 12 noon and room not ready , got the kids ready for the pool we came back to the room at 5:30 and open the door and room wasn’t clean housekeeping was across our room and I asked her why still not clean she said the man in your room said take just the trash I asked her what man she said your husband I replied My husband didn’t came with us his in Houston and she replied to my o is a men in your room I said no one else is with us she gets inside and she said I’m sorry wrong room , so I took my grandchildren to have an ice cream out side the hotel to give a change to the housekeeper to finally have our room ready at 7pm That night and night before on Friday at 12 midnight kids running thru the hall playing this happen again Saturday night so I decided to leave the hotel on Sunday the reservation was from Friday to Monday but instead on having fun it was all the opposite "
