Just minutes from downtown, the Archie Bray Foundation, parks, and hiking trails, it's the perfect base in Helena. Ten Mile Creek and Spring Meadow Lake are under a mile away, with Mt. Helena trails right outside. Wifi, Organic Coffee/Espresso, and parking are included. No smoking anywhere on the property; smokers must step off-site. No early check-in. Keep pets off furniture. LAUNDRY Washer and dryer are in the mudroom behind the kitchen and are available for you during your stay, along with complementary laundry detergent. LIVING / DINING / KITCHEN Enter into an open floor plan living, dining, and kitchen area. With multiple seating areas, you can find the coziest place to sip coffee, enjoy the fire, and gaze at the incredible view. There is a medium sized smart TV in the living room, chairs for up to 8 at the dining table as well as additional bar seating around the kitchen. There are brand new appliances throughout the kitchen, multiple coffee brewing options, and have we mentioned the views?? BEDROOMS The Primary Bedroom boasts a comfortable King size bed, private sitting area and access to the front patio. The second bedroom has two twin beds. \*\*There are two rollaway twin beds stored in the mudroom Please make sure to note the correct number of guests in your group so that we can adequately prepare for your stay\*\* Each bedroom has a vanity area with a sink and mirror. BATHROOMS There is a small bathroom directly between the two bedrooms with a stall shower. The second bathroom is located near the kitchen and has a full bathtub and shower. LAUNDRY Washer and dryer are in the mudroom behind the kitchen and are available for you during your stay. Other things to note Adam Field and Jessica Peterson (your hosts) both serve their local community by providing handmade items. Adam Field creates handmade pottery in the form of porcelain tableware and vessels and also makes traditional Korean Onggi fermentation vessels. Guests may order ceramic pieces from him as keepsakes for their time in Helena and functional wares for their kitchen or gifts for loved ones, business associates. Jessica (Jesse) Peterson has a local Apothecary and Massage Business called Wild Willow Wellness. Guests on this property are invited to schedule a massage for 10% off the regular price. There are 4 therapists to choose from! The studio is about a 10-minute drive or 15-minute bike ride from the property. Each season she offers locally grown plant based Organic Botanical Wellness Kits, which are also made specially available to guests. From Late September through December, she offers a Wellness Kit geared toward Immunity. Late December through March, she offers one that supports Immunity and the Nervous System (helping reduce stress). From Late March to June, she offers Wellness kits that support detoxing and energizing the body as the winter months come to an end, along with allergy reduction. From Late June through September, she offers a Summer Fun Wellness Kit, containing organic, natural and non-toxic bug sprays, nourishing sunscreens, after sun sprays, digestive bitters and much more to help you enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen had nice cast iron pans to cook on and there were nice views out the kitchen window as well. We were able to access biking trails that overlooked Helena straight from the house. The one thing we should have paid closer attention to when booking was the fact that there are skylights in both rooms because it is difficult to get a 1 year old to nap or sleep in without a dark room but we managed to make it work. My daughter requested this home because of its beautiful viewpoints and solitude. Our weekend stay was perfect. We were able to enjoy the many features of Helena and then return for peaceful quiet and rest. In short, we felt at home. The view of Helena is stunning. Whenever we had a question or request we received an immediate response from the owner. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation or quiet stay. It had everything we needed. Light switch locations were a little strange and kitchen a bit small but home was clean and comfortable. We were glad to have the fresh air and view over the hills and mountain from the deck. We could see part of Fort Harrison, which was fun to envision our relatives training there in 1942-43\. Owner was easy to work with and prompt to reply to my questions.
