  • Set in a magnificent position within the Dales National Park, overlooking Gayle Beck and waterfalls, this holiday property dates back to circa 1800 and was originally part of the storage and yarn knitting industry associated with the nearby Gayle Mill.

    Situated close to the Pennine Way there is excellent walking direct from the door for both the rambler or the serious walker and in the bustling market town of Hawes, a 10-minute walk away, there is a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants offering a wide variety of choices to suit every palate. Also in Hawes you can visit the Dales Folk Museum, the ropemakers, the pottery or the famous Wensleydale Creamery.

    Yarn House is ideally located for visiting the local dales, the Lake District, York, Northumberland and the historic houses, castles and abbeys of Yorkshire.
