"The house was very comfortable and the overall process was very smooth and we had no problems. The place is remote and the owner appropriately advised us in advance. Given that our group was 10 (originally booked for 12), it would have been helpful if the house would have been more well stocked with toilet paper. its about an hour drive to buy anything. "

The kitchen is new and the mini split was welcome on one 100 degree day, while the traditional wood walls and built ins evoke a well loved family heirloom. We spent our time there outdoors listening to the river…great communication with the proprietors and easy check-in and out procedures.."
"Beautiful classic cabin on the river. Two old friends celebrate decades of fly fishing on the Mckenzie. Perfect setting within an easy drive to all summer water sports and sight seeing. This will continue to be an annual event until there is no more wax left on the candle. "

"This was a somewhat spontaneous trip but this cabin was exactly what we needed and wanted!!! The cabin is right on the Mckenzie river and you can hear it from every room in the cabin and see it right out the windows! The screened in porch was wonderful to sit and drink my coffee in the morning and serene in the evening. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. The full kitchen had everything we needed in it. The AC and fans kept it cool in the day time and the fire place was really nice on one of our nights there. I highly recommend this cabin. The Log Cabin Inn grounds are all beautiful as well, and they are common grounds for all staying there to use. We loved sitting in the chairs that are placed right by the river. Also of note, the WiFi was good enough for my partner to work remotely from in the mornings there. We definitely want to come back. There is so much to see there and trails nearby. Thank you Jonathan for being an amazing host!"
