Love the location, close to downtown shops and sights, yet quiet for a good night’s sleep and parking, laundry available. There are steps if you have mobility issues but not too many. Also appreciated the breakfast amenities.

Felt very homely. Personal touch. We had to check out before breakfast time and were provided with a few breakfast items to take with us. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was cosy and comfortable. There were no loud guests, the whole atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Within walking distance of harbour front, plenty of restaurants nearby.

Great walkable location for all that Halifax offers and decent breakfast to start the day. Staff were helpful and our room was adequate for a two night stay. It’s an older heritage style house with steps up and down in all directions but the bed and shower were good. I resent paying more for parking on the property but I guess that’s typical in the city.

Was a great spot close to downtown. The room was very spacious and had air conditioning. I really enjoyed our stay, offers breakfast in the morning. Stuff were super friendly and helpful, gave a nice restaurant suggestion within a minute's walk. parking is available in the back for cost and is limited.

Our room was very clean snd comfortable. Comfortable beds and nice linens. The shower was a bit tricky to use but the water was hot. I wasn’t impressed by the additional parking fee but was able to find street parking easily but that also required additional payment. The breakfast was disappointing. It was a continental style with limited options. Nothing hot or made fresh. The staff didn’t acknowledge the guests and didn’t offer to help. I won’t be returning or recommending this property.

The bed was really really comfortable, everything was very clean. I was surprised that they came in the room on the second day of my stay to make the bed and bring clean towels... Since I did not expect that, I had left things everywhere, dirty underwear on the bathroom floor... and was a bit shy haha... I was unsure about liking that someone came in my space, but appreciated the bed and clean towels at the same time... I would have liked to know though. :) There was a cigarette smell in the room which was a bit annoying when I would get in... I opened the window and stopped smelling it after a while. Other than those small things, it is an amazing, very charming place with kind staff and I would love to go back.
