"It’s a strain to use lake view as a selling point. It is on the opposite side of a busy 4 lane highway and you have to stand in the driveway to see the lake which is probably more than 1/4 mile away. Other that that the property was very clean and accommodating."

"This little gem is perfect. My room was a suite and there was plenty of room. The staff was so wonderful and patient with me. I forgot my room key several times and she was so understanding. I highly recommend this hotel. I will certainly stay again on my next trip."

"Mr. Sam was a very sweet man and met my husband and sons when we were just getting there. Showed them where to park the boat trailers. He made a statement to my husband about the property being too much to handle and it definitely shows that. The property is very nice and I imagine it was the cream of the crop in its day. Today it is showing its age and that it has not been kept up. When we went in the front door we noticed right off the bat the house had a musty odor.The cabinets and floors ,stairs outside are showing their age! I think it could be fixed up but we would not book again until that happens! Needs some new mattresses in a couple of the bedrooms. Good plus , we were there when the country was under a heat dome and we had no problems with the air conditioners!"
