When we contacted the property owner, they only offered to send cleaners after the fact — by then, we had already been exposed and forced to clean and disinfect the space ourselves just to make it through the night. My husband and I are both allergic to mold, and the situation posed a serious health risk.Instead of issuing a proper refund, the owner attempted to reimburse part of our original payment, then became completely unreachable to both us and Vrbo.
