"The place is in a safe area a little outside of the main town. The cabins are super cute and very clean. There is a main gate locks and it felt very secure. The walk up the path was tough with luggage ! This was my only complaint, but it was a great work out at the same time. Easy for backpackers but not a single lady with larger luggage. "

"I absolutely loved the location of the cabin. The view from the terrace was mesmerizing, a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The lake was just a few steps away from our rooms. The rooms were equipped with AC's but one of the ACs wasn’t working, the kitchen was fully equipped, two full bathrooms but no towels, no wifi, no warm water. Communication with host could've been better as he sent instructions on how to access the property until the "day of" as I was on the phone with customer service....

"Property was amazing and beautiful!! We loved it so much and it was better than the pictures, the pictures don’t do it justice. Find the gate on land was difficult but they were very responsive and helpful, it was a short delay and small inconvenience. It wasn’t that bad, just something to be made aware for other travelers, I can’t stress enough on how amazing it was!! "

"Juan and his son did an amazing job building this house. You will definitely experience the birds that live in the trees around the property and gorgeous views of the lake. With downtown a mere 10-15 minute walk away, Tzikin Jaay is a perfect spot to stay with a family. We loved it and will be back for sure!!! Thank you Juan"
