It's clear the host has taken care in selecting and maintaining the art, furniture, linens, and kitchen items. This felt more like a home than a rental. We would stay again but would not bring our dogs - I should have paid more attention to the amount of stairs (our semi-elderly dog had a tough time). The upstairs fireplace stopped working but the host gave us an option for heat and showed genuine concern by offering a small refund. If/when we return, we will bring two pairs of slip-on shoes to make going outside a bit easier. Walking the dogs in the early morning was magical - the light pollution ban makes for a lovely stroll to the sound of sea lions. ##### Jennifer G. Art-filled decor, comfy furniture & excellent kitchen. Lots of stairs from driveway to front door & then between house’s two levels. Lovely small fenced garden sitting area worked well for our dog. Quiet neighborhood convenient to wonderful trails, stores and restaurants. Perfect place! ##### Leonard M. We loved the hot tub. Short walk to the beach, and a few shops, but a bit steep. Thanks for your hospitality and great directions to Bowling Ball Beach. ##### William P.
