"My 4 adult boys and I stayed here for our trip to The Field of Dreams movie site. The property was wonderful. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed a nice evening around the fire pit and in the hot tub. Hire was awesome! Great communication before during and after (we left something in the dryer). Definitely recommend the property and I may come back to spend more time in the beautiful Galena downtown with my wife"

"The manager and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are safe and well cared for. Very clean and quiet. There are tiny little things I could pick on, but we were comfortable and happy and the price is a good value. I especially enjoyed the location, hot tub and the full sized coffeemaker in the room. "We came into Galena for a get-away from the city and wanted to stay somewhere close to the main thoroughfare. Hotel Galena did not disappoint. The building and the grounds are charming, Denise and Nate were so so nice and helpful. We stayed in #7 (one of the suites) and the jetted bathtub was divine; soothing and against the brick of the 1856 building and stained glass window…it was the best of the past and present. Overall, worth the price and such a charming way to relax in a charming town. "
