"You get what you pay for - cheap, not value. Spent the first 2 hours cleaning because it was barely touched - even dining table and chairs had crumbs and spill stains. The coffee maker was black inside the water compartment. I had to pick up silverware and dish soap from the dollar store because there was only 2 forks and spoons for a place advertised for 6 and no dish soap to clean dishes. "I have stayed at well over a dozen motels, hotels, lodges, resorts over my time in the Catskills. This was by far one of my favorites and is almost certainly going to become my regular resting spot. The location is premium, with it located in the heart of the Catskills, and not far from most attractions and hikes. The bar itself serves great food and drinks, and Sean and the staff are a delight to speak to. The room is clean, well maintained, and the cleaning staff do a great job each day. Most of the common motel flaws are virtually non-existent here. I could not hear my neighbors, they seemingly could not hear me, there were little to no stains on any bedding, the bathroom was spotless, and the ambience was unmatched. The biggest criticism I’ve heard from other people is that their rooms are outdated, and how anyone can stay the night and not fall in love with the rustic 70s charm is beyond me. Thanks for a great weekend, and I look forward to many more."
