"Lovely, well equipped, cosy little apartment ideally located for activities on Loch Ness and beautiful walks in a variety of terrain and easy reach of Fort Augustus and Inverness, some right from the doorstep. Lots of nice welcoming touches and the owners responded quickly to request for information. "Little Thistle was an amazing property in the highlands. You can’t beat the view! The location is good though Google Maps likes to confuse the road entrance with the one next to it. You’ll want to drive a bit slow up the drive as it is gravel and bumpy. Once you arrive, take in the scenery!! Just gorgeous!!! One of our family members refused to pull out the mattress associated with the couch and in doing so, did not sleep well. So, I recommend using the pull out! (But can’t comment on its...

The Royal Highland Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Excelente lugar"

Beaufort Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely old hotel with all modern conveniences. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The free onsite parking is a bonus if you rent a car for touring the surrounding area. Inverness is a terrific hub for the east side of the Highlands, and the Beaufort is an ideal base, also within short walking distance of the city centre. Recommended: book breakfast in advance for a better deal."

Craigmonie Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good

"The staff in the hotel were very helpful & courteous making you feel very comfortable in the hotel. The food was first class & to a very high standard with decent portions. We would definately recommend staying here & would certainly stay there again. The 10 minute walk to the city centre was another benefit taking in the scenery & enjoying the fresh air prior to visiting the shops, bars & cafes.."

Mercure Inverness Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The Mercure was a great hotel, and the location was wonderful for walking around the city. Being right along the river was fantastic! The only downside was that parking was quite tight and fairly expensive. However, considering how challenging parking was in general, we appreciated being able to park right in front of the hotel. Our other issue was with the temperature of our first-floor room on the first night. The windows couldn't be opened due to safety concerns, as they opened onto the roof, which we completely understood. However, the room was incredibly hot, and even one shower made it feel like a sauna. Coming from Canada, we didn't find the outdoor temperature cold at all, but the hotel had the heating on for other guests. That said, the front desk was very accommodating and moved us to a fourth-floor room for our second night, where we could open the windows. This made an incredible difference! The views were great, and both rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and appreciated the staff's help in making our second night much more comfortable."

AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness

8/10 Good

"A nice hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms, what the hotel fails to tell you is there is ongoing construction with over half of the hotel covered in scaffolding. There is workers walking up and down the hallways from 0800-1600, in the lift which is small, walking through reception, the carpark is full of construction equipment so you have to park across the road that cost £10 a day. What annoyed me was the lack of information on the construction and the parking. It would be a 5 Stars if it wasn’t for the construction and the lack of information about the construction."
