"We had the best stay at Woodstock. We were unable to get there for our original start date due to large swell and so missed out on our first few days. Eventually we took a slow boat over and arrived to a friendly greeting and a great little place to stay. It's exactly what I imagined! We were offered our breakfast for the day when we arrived which was great cos we had been travelling by car, boat, car, boat and foot to get there and were pretty hungry! "Jennie, the host is amazing. She is American and speak English and Indonesian. She gave me many hints and suggestions. The place was overbooked and she proposed me a place into her house, a private room and bathroom which you have your own access so you do not intrude into their live. You can have access to the kitchen. The place is close to the action but far enough not to hear the lively Main Street. I will definitely come back as she is resourceful and her place is great"

"Plus- Nice big pool in villa. Very spacious rooms. Free bikes provided. Friendly staff. Negative- the rooms need some maintenance, crumbling walls in some spots. It is located in the middle of the island, so anytime you want to do something you have to ride back to beach (about 10 mins), which this isn’t a massive deal, it does get annoying in the heat. The place was so empty we were the only people there which was weird."
