"Pros - Gorgeous setting in a pretty garden with a lovely pool. Very peaceful with no traffic noise - great for light sleepers. If you need to head out sightseeing before breakfast time, they can provide a breakfast box. Our balcony was spacious and came with a drying rack which came in really handy. Staff are helpful. The bed only has sheets but if you request a blanket they provide one straight away. And it’s just a minute’s walk to the beach, and surrounded by cafes, laundry services and beauty therapy spas. Cons - We booked a standard twin room on Expedia 11 months in advance, and although the booking conditions stated a twin room wasn’t guaranteed, we were disappointed that with such a long booking period the hotel didn’t have any twins available. I tried to get a rollaway bed instead, as the Expedia advertisement said the room came with rollaway/extra beds for free, but the hotel said there was a charge for them. The Expedia ad also said the room had a minibar and electric kettle, but it did not. I don’t know if this is Expedia’s error or the hotel’s, but I mention it so people who do need a minibar, kettle or rollaway bed have realistic expectations. There was also a small hole in the door to the balcony which I stuffed with toilet paper so mosquitos couldn’t get in - that worked well, so if you get the same room as us you should try that."

"Look no further The Lovina is the place to stay for genuine hospitality and an experience you will carry home with you. The service was exceptional, but it was the people who made our stay unforgettable. Efa deserves special recognition. The warmth, patience, and genuine care Efa showed us made us feel truly valued, never like just another reservation. Efa was one of the biggest reasons this trip meant so much to us. Efa and Indra did far more than drive us around Bali. They shared their stories, answered our countless questions, and taught us about Balinese culture, religion, traditions, and everyday life. They helped us understand their home rather than simply see it. Those conversations turned a beautiful holiday into something deeply meaningful. I genuinely feel I grew as a person through this experience. Thank you also to Boy, Buda, Eddy, and the kitchen team for helping make our stay so special. Lovina will always have a place in my heart, and The Lovina is somewhere I want to return to again and again—not only for the destination, but for the people and how they made us feel. To anyone still comparing hotels: stop looking. For us, The Lovina was more than a place to stay; it became one of the most memorable parts of Bali. Efa and Indra, thank you for making that possible."

"Our first trip to Bali these people are wonderful people and staff were wonderful. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get a hot shower. There wasn’t enough continuous hot water. Maybe we’re spoiled, but we paid quite a bit per night for this room even more than we paid other places, I would expect to be able to take a five minute hot shower even a three minute hot shower."

"Amazing from start to finish.Communication with the owner Karin before booking was great and she even messaged after a couple of days to check everything was ok.The girls Sepi and Ayu made us a lovely dinner every night for the cost of the produce only along with doing all the housework and the washing up.We hired Jutta the driver for the two weeks and he took us anywhere we wanted to go including the Gates of Heaven which was a 4am start.Budi the manager checked in on us a couple of times and was always available on WattsApp.This place is a little piece of heaven in North Bali right on the beach ,so if your up that way don’t hesitate to stay."

"Pandu Villa is an amazing villa. Everything as described and more. Not only did the property exceed our expectation but the staff did as well. The villa itself was clean and property well maintained and the ocean view was amazing.This was our 40th Year Anniversary gift to each other and we could not have asked for a better vacation than this and we have been on many. "Excellent experience The villa was well organised, very spacious,clean, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The food prepared by the 2 ladies was very good, they have cooked for us breakfast and dinner, as per our requests. The pool is 10m long, clean and with a beach view.Melanie and Paul were very helpful and quick to respond to all our questions.At the villa we were looked after lovely staff, very friendly, polite and helpful I had some good massage done at the villa with a beach view.The villa is very safe , security was on site.It is a great space for families and friends. Lots of space inside, 3 bedrooms with his own bathroom, very big leaving room and the outside space more than enough for a big family. The dining table outside can easily accommodate 10 people and there is one in the leaving too.We were just 3 but we felt excellent. North Bali is a beautiful place to be, we were very closed to Lovina, dolphins experience was amazing, the captain came and pick us up from the villa. Menjangan island was the best experience. Our driver took us to the island (40min journey), then we went with a boat (organised just for the 3 of us by our driver)to the most beautiful spot for snorkelling.Everything was closed to our location, Munduk , waterfalls, coffee experience, double lake view. No traffic like in south BaliI love the place very much, Thank you"
