What a beautiful villa!! We were in awe when we arrived. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, we barely left! They will deliver all meals and whatever else you may need. We had a day at the spa and it was amazing. We also took advantage of the private yoga lessons in the most open and peaceful shala I have ever seen. Massages were so relaxing. We enjoyed a romantic dinner at our villa which was set up so beautifully with fresh flowers and candles, they delivered each course as we were ready. The food was great, I have zero complaints from our stay. Sad we couldn’t stay longer, will definitely be back!!

Amazing place! Super secluded up in the mountains and gives you an incredible view. Two absolutely gorgeous infinity pools that you just never want to leave. Friendly staff that wants to fulfill every need. Both restaurants have really delicious food. Sumberkima was a perfect destination for our honeymoon! Cant wait to come back one day.

Stayed in the Arun and it was nice but better for larger groups. It’s an open concept so just hanging out you’ll hear all the noise associated with nature and adjacent parties etc. The shuttle was very convenient which we used to not only go to the beach but also pick up food in the area. The restaurant menu options could be better.

Luxuriuos Stay!!
We had a wonderful stay at Sumberkima Hill Retreat. The villa was huge, very clean and everything was as described. The place is secluded and peaceful. Since the property is quite spread out, an on call shuttle was available to take us around the property as well as to the beach or for going to the market. We were also given a local mobile phone during our stay to connect with the staff for anything we needed. There were numerous activities like canoeing, snorkeling, trip to Menjangan island, trekking, day trips and many more that the staff was happy to organize for us. Do look at the detailed manual available at the villa. While quite a distance away from the beach, the villa shuttle was very convenient, so was the tie-up that the villa has with another resort on the beach. We were able to use their facilities when we went to the beach. We recommend you ask the villa for a driver for your transportation from the airport or elsewhere. The rates are reasonable and we had a very good English speaking driver. Would definitely recommend.
