It is a good value although the property is pretty dated. Like many of the buildings in Gal Island it is probably from the 1920's. We did like the pool setup but we were not sure how clean it was as the water is hazy. Within walking distance of the beach and lots of cool attractions. Room was big bathroom was tiny. We stayed in room 7. Our patio view caught a little of the ocean. Expect older and worn not new and shiny. Enjoy the nostalgia!

I loved the whole atmosphere and the adults only. You do need to bring washcloths, an extra blanket and creamer, sugar. & pool towels.

Nope. I would not stay here if I had to choose again. Checking-in was completely confusing and frustrating. There was another couple who was on the phone and still could not figure it out. My gf had to make her way around and find out for herself how to access the property. The unit itself was poorly managed. The sliding door would not completely shut all the way, so the heat from the summer was constantly flowing in, the ceiling fan was terribly slow in motion (the room could never actually cool down). We had spoken with someone who only offered us a bigger room for a higher cost or to totally cancel the trip. But we were already there and loaded in. Didn't really feel like we were going to be accommodated correctly. We had a big fruit fly issue while we were there. We were told we could not have an exterminator come out which then I replied "I just need some traps man" - then they had some sent and we had to set them up. The water pressure in the shower was awful, felt like a hand sink. The tv we found out later did not work past the first night. The shower head was broke as well, so no proper water flow. The pool was okay.. Once you look around though, you noticed the grounds keeping was poorly managed and kept. Part of the property was almost like a junk yard. I was trying to have a romantic get away and it felt like I fell short as the provider. Again, if I had the choice I would not stay here again. Over-all not satisfied with my stay at this location.
