No detail has been overlooked in this stately home. The open living and dining spaces have a soothing mix of calming grays, crisp whites, and pops of bright teal. High ceilings, elegant recessed lighting, and tons of natural light add to the airy and spacious feel of the room. A marble-topped, natural wood island with bar seating, a built-in microwave, and a wine fridge leads into the kitchen. White shaker cabinets and gleaming marble worktops create a luxurious and efficient space to prepare coffee, cocktails, casual lunches, snacks— or a full dinner for the whole crew. Stainless steel appliances and a modern vent hood over the range complete the chic space. Down the hall is a laundry room that leads into a powder room. There’s one bedroom on the main level that has a king-size bed and an attached full bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs. First is the master suite, with a sumptuous king-size bed and a spa-like ensuite bathroom with dramatic tile work. The master suite also has access to a sun-kissed balcony overlooking the bay. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds and an attached full bathroom with a step-in shower, and the third bedroom is a bunk room— with two full-over-full bunks and a double stack of twin-over-twin bunks built into a cozy nook. The bunk room also has its own private full bathroom. The epic outdoor spaces at this home will draw you outside again and again— to enjoy your morning coffee on the porch, or sip a glass of wine while a pastel pink sunset lights up the sky above you. The main level deck space has two dining tables for hosting memorable alfresco dinners under the stars with the whole family. On the ground level, there’s even more lounging and dining space— including a barbeque area with a charcoal grill and picnic tables. A dreamy wood walkway winds its way across the shoreline of West Bay and is easily accessible from the home. You’ll want to take many leisurely strolls down this peaceful pathway and perhaps do a little fishing. And when you want to get sandy, Pirates Beach is a 5-minute drive away. The premier location of this home means that you’re also close to the dining, shopping, and family-friendly excitement of the Galveston Strand and Pleasure Pier. It is located out a short ride from town without the noise. Check-in is easy and the rooms are comfortable. We had nine adults lounging in the living room watching movies and chatting. Plenty of parking for our motorcycles and the chase car. Beautiful views of the inlet. This house was beautiful and has amazing views. I watched the sunset across the water all weekend. The host was very communicative and always a message or phone call away for any concerns. I had a very difficult time understanding the app and asked for assistance in where to find stuff and I just felt that because I didn’t fully understand I should have been directed in the right direction so that I could have communicated better with my family who had questions as well about our stay. We arrived at the property at about 3:50 and the cleaning crew was still there. They allowed us to enter the property around 4:30\. There was no apologies or compensation for that. This was my family and I first time and for the most part everyone had a great time. We cleaned up again when we got there but another issue was the garbage cans were full of trash so we had to keep a lot of the trash inside the house and I really hate that. It’s rather disgusting to have garbage from 14 people inside of the home but we made it through. Other than these issues, the property itself was very nice. All other issues was sent to the owner, Russell and he was aware of my other concerns. Thank you again for having my family at your place.
