The surroundings of this apartment tell a bit of the city's history, all thanks to the Convent of Santa Clara, the Cruzes Museum (former farm of the family of the first donatory captains of the island) and the Fort São João Baptista. This cozy property was recently remodeled, thinking of your comfort on your next vacation. Comprising two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, this apartment also has a pleasant bathroom with shower. In addition to these amenities, you can wake up every day with a wonderful view of the Funchal bay and the Desertas islands. With excellent natural lighting and a carefully decorated apartment, in light tones that match the practical and modern furniture that was chosen for this apartment. With a fully equipped living room, in symbiosis with the open space kitchen, they complete the interior space of the property. To enjoy the spring mornings or the summer afternoons and evenings, the apartment has a generous balcony where you can enjoy a drink or indulge in your meals during your stay. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA This apartment is situated in a quiet residential area close to Funchal city center. Its location allows you to move easily to any place in the city or island, with close access to the highway that connects the east, west and north of the island. Nearby you will find some cafes, snack-bars and small grocery stores. The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute drive away. TRANSPORT The best option to reach the house is the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport! GUESTS ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the apartment. Zurück geht man je nach körperlicher Fitness mindestens doppelt solange. Das Apartment macht einen guten Gesamteindruck, jedoch ist die unmittelbare Umgebung etwas heruntergekommen. Wie andere Besucher fanden wir das Hundegebell in der Nachbarschaft nervig. Das Einchecken erfolgte kontaktlos und war unproblematisch. Island Apartart als Vermieter hat auf Anfragen schnell reagiert und war bei Mängeln bemüht, diese zu beseitigen. Unsere Kritik am Zustand der völlig verschlissenen Balkonmöbel wurde zwar entgegen genommen, aber die Sitzmöbel nicht ausgetauscht. Die Loungsessel waren mittig durchgesessen und zum Sitzen unbrauchbar. Insgesamt haben wir uns jedoch wohlgefühlt und können das Apartment mit den genannten Abstrichen empfehlen. ##### Marita S.
