Attention, trafic bruyant

Nous avons malheureusement quitté après la première nuit sur 8…il faut savoir que le condo est situé dans un rond point d’une rue très passante(notez aucune voiture sur la photo!) et donc, le trafic est constant et très bruyant. Comme il fait très chaud en juillet, nous avons dû dormir les fenêtres ouvertes…le condo ne dispose pas d’un air cli, seulement un petit ventilateur… dommage car pour le reste, il est très bien! Le gestionnaire nous remboursé en partie

The information provided by the hosts together with good communications and their assistance when required were all first class. This is our second 4 week stay at this elegantly furnished, extremely well-equipped and ultra clean 3rd floor corner apartment. With its floor to ceiling windows and balcony on two sides, it is light and airy even in the occasional overcast weather. With bus stops, a large supermarket and several restaurants close by it is ideally situated. Sited close to a roundabout, there is a certain amount of traffic noise during the morning and evening rush hours, but it is seldom intrusive. We highly recommend this apartment, the hosts and the team of weekly cleaners.

Heel fijn verblijf op goeie locatie. Appartement van alle gemakken voorzien. Toch een klein minpuntje: het verkeer bij het appartement is nogal druk/lawaaierig (grote rotonde). Dat kun je ondervangen door alle ramen en deuren dicht te doen, maar dan wordt het erg benauwd omdat er geen airco is.

Great place to enjoy Madeira

The apartment was great, very clean and with everything needed for a long stay. We enjoyed the view from the balconies and found that the location was perfect as a base to travel around the island. Many good restaurants nearby as well as a large supermarket 1 min walk only. The convenience of a garage to park our car was a great addition. We would definitely consider staying here again.

New apartment in very good condition , clean with every thing you need for long or short stays. As others have said , the apartment is situated on a roundabout on a main road so there is traffic noise , but you get used to it and it did not affect our sleeping.

Very enjoyable

We are two retired Canadians. The location and apartment were as described—excellent. We would have appreciated getting the address sooner than a day before arrival as we would have liked to have arranged transportation beforehand. Access to local transit allowing easy access to the old part of the city is about as convenient as it could possibly be. Communication with the host was easy and she responded quickly. We also appreciated the housekeeping mid-stay. As North Americans, we’d have appreciated a bit larger television & some art work on the walls that would add some warmth but these are small things. Highly recommend this apartment and host.

Great location with fabulous view

The apartment was lovely and facilities were excellent - everything was easy to use and in good condition. The swimming pool was an added bonus to cool off in the hot afternoons, and was never busy. The view from the apartment was lovely, and with a supermarket just round the corner, and bus stops no more than 5 minutes walk, the whole of Madeira is at your disposal. A 10 minute walk down to Praia Formosa and you are on the path to Camara de Lobos, a lovely fishing village about 40 minutes walk away - and easy to get the bus back. We had a lovely time in Madeira and would recommend this apartment.

Superb Holiday Apartment

We enjoyed 3 weeks holiday at this extremely well equipped and beautifully furnished apartment. This light and airy corner apartment is well positioned for transport with nearby bus stops, local shops and a major shopping centre within 10 minutes walk. Both check in and check out were very easy, cleaning first class and our hosts, Carlota and Babi helpful and caring. Thoroughly recommended.
