"We stayed in the hotel only one night. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean. Only carpet was old and smell-need to be replaced. Front desk girl was very unfriendly and unpleasant!! Breakfast was ok,but not too great!!"

"Amazing cabin in a beautiful serene setting. Cabin is custom built with unique detail. We were disappointed with the grill situation - we were not able to use it, as it was filthy inside and falling apart. We had purchased nice steaks and chicken to grill and had to change plans. Hot tub was very nice, cabin was very clean. I would recommend the owners provide more cookware, spray cleaner for kitchen cleanup, and also maybe stock cards and games for rainy days or families. The fire pit and chairs are great, but would recommend stocking a bit of covered firewood, lighters, a flash light, and bug spray. Overall I would recommend the cabin - it is beautiful!"

"The cabin was great! Had some issues finding it as the address provided took us to a house right past it, and it was hard to look for the signs with no lights. Once we found the property it was a great weekend!"
Black Bear Lodge Motel

"Room had the basics: clean room and sheets, adequate towels, hairdryer, offered shampoo but not conditioner, minifridge with good small freezer component, wifi/TV worked well. No staff onsite but did not need them (staff at realty comapany at local store). Basics, clean, heat/AC work well without being noisy. Area= small settlement in mountains but has good BBQ restaurant. Would return again but bring food for lunch breakfast."

"Lovely home perfect for couples or families. Cows, horses, and wild turkeys were all visible from the porch. Quiet country farm area. Living room had lots of seating and a great table for game playing. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Grocery store and dollar general nearby in Frenchburg. Slade was about 20 min away with more restaurants,gem mine, and gorge underground. Hiking areas all around."
