« Cabin was recently renovated. Extremely clean and comfortable. Had a extras like towels, toiletries and bedding not usually found in fishing camps. Great river front location on the French River with fantastic view. Slight confusion on check in but staff was patient and it was sorted out quickly. Not just a fishing destination but good for families or anyone that likes nature. »

« My husband and I had a great time on our extended weekend stay here. The house was clean and well equipped, with lots of useful information in the manual/welcome book. It was nice to be on the river and see and hear the birds. It was also great to be a short drive from different parks and trails. We appreciated Sue’s quick response when we asked her a question the first morning. It was a very nice stay. »

« If you're looking for luxury and modern amenities, this is not for you BUT if you are looking for solitude, peace and escape from city life go for it. It is a true cabin experience, does not come with sheets. Blankets are dated so walk with your own as I am not sure how often they get laundered. « Everything was perfect! We had an amazing stay! The house is clean and roomy and you have everything you could need. The owner was always fast to respond to any questions. Just sitting out by the lake or by a fire is so relaxing and peaceful. Is also very close to Sturgeon Falls for a quick run to a store was super convenient. « We had a wonderful long weekend at Joanne's place. She was very responsive and accommodating. The house is lovely and spacious and very homely. The huge deck right on the river makes it perfect for relaxing, swimming and fishing and the hot tub tops it off! Would definitely stay here again and hopefully spot some bears across the river next time. »
