Nice beach, but Beach Villa on Estero was disappointing
We were surprised to find out that Fort Myers was hit by a devastating hurricane a short 18 months ago. We saw it on the news but it had slipped from memory. That being said there was no mention of it on the listing anywhere. When we arrived were disappointed but decided to make the best of it. Beach Villas did not contact us to ask us if we needed anything or simply to check in. We did receive an automated survey asking us for a 5 star rating. On their best day this would be a 3 star resort. There was constant beach reconstruction the entire week. There was also constant noisy maintenance work all week, understandable given the amount of work needed. The construction workers broke a main waterline causing the water to be turned off for the day. The owners never contacted us about it and we contacted them about it Jason said we would receive a one day credit. That was 3 weeks ago, and we still have not received the credit. I would not recommend this place at this time.

Great view and very nice condo
This condo had everything we needed. It was clean and large enough for the three of us. The view of the gulf and beach was very nice and the sunsets were great. We would stay here again in the future.

Love this place!!
My husband and I took 3 teens and a child on a family vacation. This place was perfect to sleep the 6 of us, it was right on the beach with an amazing view. It was clean and small. The only thing I didn’t like was the kids wanting to go to the big pool area at the Pink Shell where we have a connecting gate and our pool being so much smaller. Also the lock on the door needed to be fixed but other than that, I’d book this place again in a heartbeat. Trying to convince my husband to go ahead and book it for next summer.

Very nice vacation
Check in instructions were sent in a time, easy to check into room. Nice view, was very clean and inviting. Close to beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Almost perfect!
Nice property, comfortable furniture and beds. Disappointed that balcony is next door to Pink Shell Resort with intermittent loud music and DJ...had to call to ask to turn down a few times. Need to insure all remotes have batteries, and lamps have lightbulbs. Only living room tv had ROKU and instructions. Toaster burns bottom half of everything. Otherwise kitchen well stocked.

There are pictures provided which show the location of the complex on the beach & in relation to other resorts. Fort Myers Beach is a very popular vacation destination with activities happening regularly. Housekeeping does change batteries & light bulbs as needed between guests. Each guest has access to their own iTrip guest portal which provides trip details & tons of help articles for things such as tv instructions. We welcome you again!

Great girls getaway
The air didn't work when we got there, but they fixed it immediately. We went to dinner, came back, it was done. The location was great and the beach in front of the building was beyond amazing. We really couldn't ask for a better way to spend the week with friends, so relaxing and carefree. The morning we left, there was a leak in the ceiling, I think from the apartment above- it didn't hurt us, I just felt sorry for the owner and the next renter. The touch pad coming in and out was a godsend, nobody had to keep track of any keys. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your home. The weather was perfect and the ocean and pool water were warm! We saw dolphins and stingrays playing right off the coastline in front of the building every day.....

Loved the beach and sunsets and easy access to a lot of activities.
We’ve been coming down to Sanibel for years…this year we decided to try Fort Meyers Beach and it did not disappoint. Great condo, we left a lot of sand and ocean toys, it’s clean, comfortable. Wish the AC was a little cooler - but we managed.

fun on the beach
The property was in a good location. The biggest complaint we had that there were no beach type items. This vacation obviously is centered around the beach, and we believe, like other places we stayed at, the owners should have beach chairs and unbrellas for the renters. That would be a basic expectation.

Hi Steve - we wish we woudl've heard from you during your stay. The owner has provided some beach items & they're stored in a closet near the kitchen - an umbrella, small cooler & chairs along with beach towels are in the unit. We're glad you enjoyed the condo & location; it's one of a kind!

I'm not one to give bad reviews, but...
I am not one to give bad reviews, and this is probably geared more toward their management, but when we arrived they didnt even have the toiletries that they said they would provide. We ran out of toilet paper on day 3 and had to buy our own. The bed was awful and the wifi was unsecured. On the last day workers showed up and started grinding concrete right in front of our patio. This created a toxic dust cloud and left a nice film of that dust on the patio. Aside from the family resort next door, the location along the beach was good.

Hi Mark - when renting a private property, you're not supplied with toiletries/amenities for your entire stay. An email is sent ahead of your arrival noting what is provided, including 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. If you're looking for daily housekeeping service, a hotel or resort would be a better option. Regarding any work being done outside, we have no control over work being done to repair public streets or walkways. We're sorry to hear it was a disruption to you. We work really hard for every guest and want everyone to have a great time. We wish you the best in your future travels!
