I don't normally do reviews but feel compelled to do one seeing many are looking for insight as they plan trips during 2021.
You need to wear a mask everywhere around the property, even outside; yes, outside. But, I can share, the outside rules are not strongly enforced, but inside, yes. Once you arrive to your chairs or restaurant table, you can remove it.
Of the 3 options for restaurant, the Tanglewood was okay. The others were great.
They are clearly understaffed. The hotel was heavily populated (we stayed Sat. to Th.) and it was booming.
The grounds are wonderful. The pools are great. There's ample seating and much to do if you aren't swimming; open lawn area and the boat to the private beach.
We had a double bed room for two teens and two adults. The bathrooms are small. They are not offering daily housekeeping but if you haven't called down for service, you automatically get service on your fourth day. This is false. They are clearly understaffed in this area too. I called for cleaning on the fourth day, and they confirmed it would happen. We were gone the whole day and came back to the room untouched. They were prompt when we called for towels and trash bags often.
The pricing, we paid $650 a night, was too much for the overall service received. I would say $550 a night is more inline.
The locals come to the hotel on the weekend for stay-cations. It gets very busy.
