Very unique stay. Was not staffed but email gave instructions on how to get room and room had everything you will need for a stay. The downstairs area was really neat, with pool and foosball and the upstairs had some reading areas that were well maintained.

This place was amazing. We arrived at 2 am and got in no problem. The beds were incredible. I took photos of the tags so i could buy them myself. Also the seating areas we so charming. Sad the restaurant isn't open anymore but good on the property for maintaining history.

Old wooden building, so floors to rooms upstairs creaked. Only a few rooms (six, I think) on the upper floor. The Drug Store downstairs itself is closed (and currently for sale), so no breakfast. HOWEVER, the store was furnished with a full pool table, table tennis, and foosball, plus all the furnishings of the business. With only ourselves and one other guest this time, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Upper floor also had a very nice community room with couches, games and tables, a phonograph with vinyl records, tea/coffee service. Again, with so few people staying, it was a luxurious experience. Modern (and quiet) air conditioning system in comfortable, large bedrooms. Access was a bit strange. No staff on site, so entry was by coded electronic lock on side door. Prior owner/manager communication gives you the code and instructions.

Cutest little historic hotel! We loved walking the town - ate delicious pizza next door! Cant comment on the staff as we didnt need them. Instructions to get in the hotel were simple. The kids loved all the games to play. I believe there was one or two other guest rooms occupied..we slept soundly! Easy to find the roll away bed with extra linens.

No muss, no fuss…. It’s a bed to sleep in.. it was clean, air conditioned… never saw a human, all instructions were clear and easy, plenty of towels, soft bed…. Kind of strange place, very large building without anyone in it… if you had kids was plenty to do, ping pong, pool board games.. etc I would stay again if I was traveling through

Our stay at the Drugstore Hotel was truly unique—an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything we saw in the photos came to life, and honestly, it was even better than we expected. My son absolutely loved it—he said he would happily live there forever, playing games and enjoying every moment. That alone says so much about how special this place is. We felt incredibly welcome throughout our stay, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time as a family. Highly, highly recommended! We will definitely be back and will book this place again on our next trip. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

Room was clean and had everything we needed. I needed to lock the windows when they started whistling as the wind kicked-up from the cold front that came through. Timing was not too good for us as only limited eating choices were available in town on Tuesday and Wednesday, the two days we were in Fort Davis. But they were good and also were a good value.

Clean spotless room easily accessible using key codes sent in advance. Lots of space to hang out with friends. Easy parking. One drawback was religious literature left in the room felt less welcoming.
