The indoor pool was undergoing maintenance and the outdoor pool closed at 7, not the 10pm advertised in the hostel’s messages after checking in. The restaurant advertises itself online as being flexible for gluten free/ vegetarian/ vegan. When sitting down and asking, nothing was completely gluten free and only the three meat dishes and one pasta dish could be made gluten free. We ate elsewhere. Clean rooms and friendly staff, good for a basic hostel stay. Air conditioning in the rooms, however it is very loud (might just be an issue in the room we stayed in). Great location for the train station.

We reserved a private room for two and we were surprised for the size, clean and not noisy at all. The location is perfect and it’s a good place to escape from the overcrowded Florence during summer.

Check in was hectic, they do have a number system so that was nice but waited for around 30 mins to check in. Room was clean but very bare bones. It’s a fine place to stay in Florence but don’t expect anything spectacular. Didn’t do the pool or the bar so I can’t really speak for that. The staff were very nice though

Hostel Plus was a great place to stay for our two nights in Florence. The staff were extremely helpful at both check-in and check-out, the facilities were excellent, and the room was comfortable—with a big bed that was perfect after long days of walking. The only downside was the location. The streets were quite noisy, and while everything was technically walkable, it did mean longer walks than expected. Overall, I would still highly recommend staying here.
