« The cabin was VERY clean and had so many little extras that made our weekend stay easier! The host was super fast to communicate and when my son left his wallet, they were gracious enough to get it back to us quickly. We loved being able to bring our dog and just a few houses up you are literally at the top of the mountain with the old ski lift parking lot! Super fun place to hang out. « Awesome place great facilities a little bit out there if your planning on visiting Asheville but not terrible, view makes it worth it. Super clean plenty of places to sleep and comfortable beds. « Great little place to stay, clean, well equipped and quiet location. It’s far enough out but close enough to things as the same time. Hot tub was great. One thing to know, the driveway is mildly steep. No problem for a modern vehicle, but we drove a classic car and it was a little dicey getting up the drive. I don’t remember if this was mentioned in the listing or not, but I’m just sharing in case it helps someone else decide what to drive LOL. We’d definitely come back! »

« We just returned from our week stay at VML. The rustic cabin is located on beautiful property with a creek flowing through it. Relaxing in the mornings sitting on the covered porch drinking a coffe and listening to the water was what we needed. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Even though there was no air conditioning, the celling fans kept us cool at night. Would highly recommend this property. Allan was a great host. Looking forward to our next stay at VML. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, which is beautifully constructed with a rustic appearance and sits on the bank of the French Broad River. The cabin is perfectly designed and is cozy and comfortable. We loved the open kitchen, the wide covered porch and the sense of being remote without actually being in the middle of nowhere. We never left the cabin but instead enjoyed the peaceful space and the gorgeous view. »

« The home was absolutely gorgeous with amazing views! There were 7 of us and everyone had plenty of space, we spent lots of time on the porches and playing games at the large table! Property owner responded to our questions quickly and was very informative prior to our trip! Definitely need 4x4 to get to the house, but it’s worth the bumpy, twists and turns! Suggest arriving before dark the first time! We will definitely be returning here! Worth every penny!! »
