Restored in 1994, the sign wall is a colorful reminder of the days when sign painters toured the country covering barns and buildings with their handiwork. Cigar Store Indian carved by a local artist, this craft shop also has folk art, baskets, pottery, jewelry, home and garden décor, and Christmas creations year round. Painted around 1895, the sign itself is made up of two parts: the lower portion, advertising Mail Pouch Tobacco, processed by Bloch Bros. of Wheeling, West Virginia. The floor is beautiful but it creaks very loudly. I’ve been in construction my whole life and I know that very old buildings creak! Not sure I would want to be on 2nd floor, but the apartment is clean and very spacious. I would definitely recommend it, and happily stay there again. Very spacious and right in the center of downtown Jonesborough, making it very easy to get around and visit the cute shops. The parking is street parking or some of the nearby parking lots but nothing too far. The communication with property management was very poor, which is why I rated 3 stars instead of 5\. The check in process was lacking, aka nonexistent. I never received any instructions for check in, and I had a hard time finding the entrance to the place. I had to message the property manager and when I received no response I called the property managers 4 times before receiving a response. The whole ordeal made it so I didn't get inside the place until an hour after I arrived. I would consider staying here again and recommending the place if the communication improves. ##### Lane H. Jonesborough is a beautiful little town full of charm and charming people. We spent 3 nights here and fell in love with the area.
