« We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience »

« We had the most relaxing stay at The Stable. Jean made us most welcome and the cake was delicious. The surrounding countryside was lovely with lots of birds visiting the garden. We stayed for a week which passed by too quickly. Would highly recommend. »

« We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home. The host was extremely helpful and gave us access to the local tennis courts which were really fun. The actual house itself is even better than the photos in set in amazing grounds with beautiful views. We also loved walking down to the river. »

« An area of the bedroom carpet was very wet and we had to stand on it when accessing the wardrobe and when passing through the door. This was especially unpleasant during the night. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room. The communal rubbish bins, located in the car park directly below the flats were overflowing with bagged and unbagged household rubbish dumped in many areas. It was likely that vermin would be attracted...

« It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs. »

« Meadow Terrace is in a great location in Shrewsbury. A parking space is available for the duration of the stay. The beds were very comfortable. It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here. »

The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is at the heart of the property and we could all sit around the table to eat our meals.The location is great for walks and the garden good for exploring. « Excellent facilities, very clean and great to have off road parking. The stairs are steep and a bit of a challenge. Perhaps there should be a warning included in the house description. The motion sensitive light at the top of the stairs was very necessary. It would also be helpful to have a guide specific to the house, and not just a generic guide. We missed having a recycling bin. »

I haven’t rated it 5*s as the check in was slow due to there only being on member of staff on at reception, the pool being cold and us not getting bottles of water in our room for the first night but getting them for the second. »
