A lovely little stay- with hotel rooms situated above the restaurant. Our room was small, clean and comfortable. We booked in the restaurant downstairs and we're so glad we did. The food was FANTASTIC. We would recommend booking a table. We also managed to park in the restaurant car park which was free. The staff were lovely. The room was good but not quite as cosy as room 7 which was not the main issue. I was in a room in the annexe next to the car park and kitchen i was awoken at 7.15 by crashing and banging of metal which went on for about 20 minutes. I realise this is a restaurant business but need to realise they are also a hotel where people need to sleep. I wlll seriously consider whether to stay here again. Can't find anything negative to say about this place. It was easy to find and close to the town centre, a 7 min walk. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff on arrival who showed us to our room which was warm, clean and homely. Beds were very comfortable. I arrived in the middle of the team’s Diwali celebrations and felt awful (they’d closed the bar for a few hours), however the team were so welcoming and friendly, and made me feel at home. Room was immaculate, quiet and comfy bed. Parking easy and off the road, so felt secure.
