It has a certain charm but you feel like back in 1980, I have never seen such a place in complete decay since a travel to Lithuanian countryside in 2002 - there was not 1 Swiss frank invested for 30 years. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, just soft foam slipping off the bed frame. Rooms including family ones are tiny. Breakfast is quite ok. The location is really excellent in winter and summer. If you intend to watch TV in the evening, subscribe to Netflix because satellite doesn't work either. It would all be fun if it didn't cost 200 franks/night with all taxes and extras. Location is really good and staff is really helpfull. Really expected a warm breakfast, though. PS. Please check cable-cart schedule b4 making your booking.
