"Overall, the stay was okay. We checked into our cabin and it was left unlocked, dirty, and the plumbing was not working. Once we got ahold of Travis, he helped us transition into a different cabin for the remainder of our stay. The second cabin was much cleaner and had no issues with plumbing. The amenities (docks, kayaks, fishing shed) were all super nice and really made the stay worthwhile. When booking, be sure to read alllll the information about the cabins and expect that they really are...

"Liked the sunsets, the coziness, the peace and quiet. Didn't like the shallow water by the dock for our boat. No wifi, or way to hook tv up to it. The bathroom with the tiny toilet and slipery bathtub. My husband and I are in our 70's and it's not very accessible for bad backs and knees, or for larger people like our son."

"My adult granddaughters and I stayed 3 days in October for some grandma time. The cabin is adorable and we spent every evening on deck by fire. Hackensack is a quaint little town with great places to eat and friendly people. "
