"Amazing and cozy place with charming and welcoming staff. A lot of top notch local cheeses and cold cuts to be washed down with tremendous local wines. A good bar and on the night of our stay they had a pianist entertaining the guest. Comfortable rooms with good air conditioning and calm surroundings gave a good night's sleep.

"We loved our stay. The hotel had really nice breakfasts included and the pool was fantastic after a hot day walking around the old city. We had a standard room and we were expecting it to be small. It was very small - it was difficult to find space for our cases and the shower was so small that it was hard to use it without banging your elbows. The room did include a nice outdoor balcony which made up for the super small room. The hotel was an easy walk into the old city."

They have a FREE shuttle service to go to SAN GIMIGNANO, and BACK to the hotel.
I ve been to San Gimignano 3 times, it's a wonderful medieval town, BUT parking outside the city walls, it's a pain. On previous trip, for 2 different days we had to wait in line for someone to leave the parking to get into the parking lot. Also it's kind of expensive parking .(more than 20 euros for the daytime)
So for us leaving our car at the hotel, and going to San Gimignano and back to the hotel, with the offered shuttle WAS GREAT option. Not to worry where to park, and not waiting in line for a parking spot.
The hotel STAFF was AMAZING. Super friendly, they had always a smile, and offer a solution for every request.
We were 5 people traveling in 2 cars, One of the people of the group got a room, in an area with an ELEVATOR. The other 4 people, got a room in an older area of the property WITHOUT ELEVATOR, but the hotel staff, HELPED US WITH OUR LUGGAGE, at check in, and at check out. (Thank you)
The hotel has an in property restaurant. Kind of expensive, the food was good, but the staff at the restaurant, did not speak much English, so communication was a problem.
We will DEFINTIVLY will stay there again, on our return to TOSCANA.

"My family of eleven stayed at Valerio's Villa for my 70th birthday and had a wonderful time. He was a great host and would highly recommend this place.My son enjoyed using the pizza oven and BBQ. The grandchildren loved all the open space to play, and we all enjoyed the pool.The Villa was close to many walled cities to visit.Everyone loved the meals and cooking class with Maria.The family dinners we had on the patio over looking the Tuscan countryside were unbelievable!!"
"The hotel is in a small town and is very clean. The room is spacious and had all the things you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel offered a variety of food for breakfast. Max and Stefano, hotel managers, provided great customer service and made our vacation in Tuscany very special and memorable. "

While the nature and property were stunning and the villas were generously sized the cleanliness and staff helpfulness was very poor .there were very large bugs in the shower and tons of dust below the beds and one of our beds was not made at all .we only received one tiny bar of hand soap for a 3 bedroom ,6 ppl villa and when we ask for toiletries and extra toilet paper we received only 2 sets of shampoo and shower gel as a one time courtesy , any more we would be charged for .While we had a full kitchen with plates and pots there was zero silverware and to top it off we had to take our own garbage out upon departure .
There is a fitness facility and a paddle court that you can only use for a fee ."
