« I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world...

« The property was not cleaned when we checked in. But the cleaning staff was there within 30 minutes and did a very thorough job. There were cobwebs outside and the rain gutters were clogged (and still are). Windows were dirty (and still are). The traffic noise made it hard to sleep. Part of the baseboard are missing in the bathroom upstairs and there is pink mold growing in the bathtub area. The fire pit could not be lit. There are 2 dirty, rusty lounge chairs by the propane tank on the patio....

« The location cannot be beat—lakefront, quiet neighborhood with sandy entrance to the lake. Our kids and dog loved the easy lake access, and we rebted and launched kayaks from the Acquatic Center. "Do you like BEDBUGS? I don't. But for more than 100 dollars, I got a nice room with bedbugs. The manager was not around and 4 days later, I have still no answer about a refund, what would be the less they could do to be excused. I am a photographer working for travel magazines and in my life, I stayed in the most remote places in Africa, Asia and South America. But never had BEDBUGS.
