There were dirty socks left under the bed in the basement. The tubes filled with water while showering and kitchen sink was always filled with water. This rental was perfect for our family of 5 (with grown children in their 20s). Upper and lower bedrooms via spiral staircase may be difficult for people with mobilities or with really small children, but it was perfect for us. Walk to excellent pizza at Brenda’s and coffeeshop! This rental was undoubtedly the worst stay in my experience with VRBO. The condo was dirty with mold, mildew and dust. Please understand it is three floors with narrow spiral staircases conecting each floor. The spiral staircase going to the basement floor is so narrow you can't get a normal suitcase down it. There is a dehumidifier in the bedroom that actually empties water into a drain o the floor - in the bedroom! There is no AC on this floor! Because of this there was mold and mildrew growing on the doors. The bottom floor was unusable for our group, therefore one person had to sleep on the sofa on the main floor. The main floor has a portable AC unit that barely kept that floor comfortable on a July weekend. The kitchen is fairly well furnished. The loft (which they call a bedroom) has a window AC unit that was covered in a half inch of dust. It is also plugged into a surge protector that comes halfway up the wall. Can you say "janky"? We arrived late Friday night and literally had to make the best of a horrible situation. We contacted the host first thing Saturday morning to request a thorough cleaning of the property. After going back and forth basically all day, it never happened. We were in town for the funeral of a dear friend, honestly this is the last thing we wanted to deal with. However, I would not recommend this property to seniors. The kitchen chairs were high tops as well as the deck chairs which was not comfortable. Séjour de 2 nuits en février 2025 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Jessica C. 3 févr. 2025 Points faibles : Propreté #### Only thing great was the new fridge Main floor bathroom you can’t get a bath only the shower head works you can’t turn the knob for a bath if you try and use the jets in the tub some sort of sand material comes out the bunk beds on the bottom floor are shaking and wouldn’t recommend putting any child on the top bunk they tell you to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels wasn’t aware we had to bring our own cleaning products and garbage bags too the area rugs are dirty and need replaced the house is very out dated the drier has some sort of dirt material built up around the edge of it if you want an Air B and B where you are responsible for everything needed to clean it and maintain it where you are there this is the one for you the pictures are very deceiving they make it seem bigger and we didn’t bring an animal with us but ended up with white fur on our clothes I’m going to go out on a limb and say it was a cat because that’s the only animal I’m allergic too and my eyes were super swollen when I woke up I was very disappointed I hope they can make the necessary adjustments for the next guests ##### Jessica C. Séjour de 2 nuits en janvier 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Princess D., West Virginia 29 janv. 2025 Points faibles : Propreté #### Disappointed in cleanliness & lack of essentials The bad: The property listing says, entire house, however, is a condo. The area gets significant snow, but it had not snowed in a few days before our arrival, yet there was not even a path or attempt to clear the walkway, steps or deck. Condo is significantly smaller than photos appear. The basement bedroom was hard to heat. Steps that go upstairs & downstairs are spiral & very narrow. The floors were dirty/dusty & did not appear to have been swept in a long time. Previous guests' garbage/food wrappers in the bedside table. Pots/pans/dishes in the cabinets had food on them & had to be washed prior to use. I have stayed in many, many VRBO's and other vacation rentals and have always had the basics/starter package in the kitchen/bathroom, this rental had no dishwasher pods, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. (had to immediately go to store to purchase). Additionally, take note that although Maryland is a recreationally legal state, and rules do not say no vaping- DO NOT VAPE. I was charged 250 b/c host claimed strong smoke smells, which a member of our group has prescription and vapes, which does not cause strong smell that requires 250 in cleaning. The Good: Host was friendly, quick to respond, condo is in a great location, master bed was comfortable, easy check-in, lots of towels & throw blankets. Host found jewelry that was left & promptly shipped it back & provided a tracking number. ##### Princess D.
